Each of us is granted a garden

And tasked to help it grow

With love and laughter

And boundless joy

With faith and charity

Weeds will come

Growing fear and hate

Envy, lust, and greed

These we need to curb

And as we do

Our garden will flourish

Its beauty spread

Blossoming the life we lead

So, find your hoe, your rake

Your watering can

Prepare for some hard work

Let’s make that garden grow
