THE GREAT EGG-SCAPE
It’s the great egg-scape, spread the word
The eggs are rebelling, won’t be deterred
They’re on the lam, they’ve all jumped ship,
They’ve taken a powder, managed to skip
They’re running free, they’re out the door
They won’t be hunted anymore
They’re on the run, they’re hightailing it
They’ve flown the coop, yes, gone and split
It’s a mass breakout, it’s a getaway
They’re giving a pass to Easter Day.
